I created a member login over a week ago, but it continues to tell me the account is "pending." How long does it take to be reviewed?

I have the same issue.  I registered and get the pending message also. 

I am also waiting for an email verification for a week too now.
A friend in my area also has the same problem.
Do we have to enable something on our computers perhaps.??

I went into "lost account info" reentered my email address and entered the password given.
I received a confirmation email within minutes.
