I'm on a tight budget, should I opt for homestays or luxury resorts?

I intend to visit Andaman and I am undecided if I should book in a homestay or a luxury resort, I have been researching on homestays as it will be a good experience to see the local culture, I have also been told that luxury resorts have great facilities, I am planning to have a homestay and then change to a luxury resort.

If your budget is tight then you shoud stay at your home and spend good time there, however you can book the cheap resort with the less facilities to spend your time.
