My 18-year old daughter is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict.  She is living at home and currently working to pay off student loans.  She has made progress in some behavior at home, has not run away from home, and is sticking to her job.  She was allowed by us to live at home on the condition she seek treatment and pay for her loans.  She did attend therapy for about six sessions, went to one AA meeting, then decided not to continue since the last week.  Since then we have found an empty whiskey bottle in her room and she has been very rude and angry with her younger brother and me.  While I have offered to take her to get help and pay for it, she simply refuses.  Her father is so happy and proud of her simply finding a job and working that it is no big deal that she broke her word and is emotionally abusive to us.  He is so desperate to help her that our marriage is on the verge of a divorce.  I am so hurt and angry myself for not getting my husband's support.  When we talk, he says he agrees with me but doesn't enforce much.  It's gotten to the point where I have asked them both to move out.  Is it unreasonable to expect them to keep their word or am I simply being impatient?  I just don't want her tearing this family and marriage apart with her lack of commitment to treatment.  She has been the source of marital discord for many, many years prior to any drug or alcohol abuse.
