Hi--

My name is Katie Marsico, and I'm a children's/YA author who specializes in reference titles. I've recently been hired by a major educational publisher to do a series for middle-schoolers on teen issues (explained from the perspective of real teenagers who have experienced them). Topics include Drug Abuse, Eating Disorders, Alcohol Abuse, Depression and Stress, Bullying and Hazing, and Cyber Dangers.

 

To this end, I'm trying to find sources (teens) who'd be willing to do brief phone or e-mail interviews with me. There's no monetary compensation, but I can use fake names if sources prefer, and we have every hope and confidence that these books will aid children and young adults who are struggling with the aforementioned issues. If you know of anyone who could help me or would be willing to post my message, I would be most grateful.
