I live in one of those massive apartment towers near the Dubai Mall entrance and my car is parked on level P4 in a spot that's really hard to describe over the phone. The battery died yesterday morning and I've been putting off calling anyone because I'm worried the mobile service will get lost in the parking maze or won't be able to bring their tools down the ramp. My building security is also pretty strict about outside vendors. A colleague who used to live in the area mentioned a company called Skilled Battery Installation Downtown Dubai that apparently deals with high rise parking all the time and coordinates with security in advance. Has anyone here actually used them in a similar building? I'm mostly wondering if they bring a cart with them or if they expect me to move the car to a loading bay which I obviously can't because it's dead. Also curious if they can handle the battery registration on a BMW because I really don't want warning lights after. Just trying to avoid a whole drama with building management.
