I just got a set of new alloys fitted to my car and I'm already paranoid about scraping them on a curb. I've been looking into those rim protector rings that sit between the tyre and the wheel, apparently, they're made from a strong nylon material and are designed to take the hit before your rim does . The problem is, I've heard the installation can be a bit tricky and needs a proper fitment to work effectively . I'm based in Abu Dhabi and I'm hoping to find a workshop that offers a same-day rim protection in Abu Dhabi service, so I can just get it done on the spot and drive away with peace of mind. Has anyone had a good experience getting these fitted locally, and do they actually work as advertised?
